Four team trade

Phoenix trades: SG Anfernee Hardaway (10.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.0 apg in 30.7 minutes)
2nd round pick
Phoenix receives: SG Bob Sura (7.3 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 3.2 apg in 20.6 minutes)
C Adonal Foyle (5.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 0.5 apg in 21.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +2.1 ppg, +4.5 rpg, and -0.3 apg.

Minnesota trades: SG Terrell Brandon (10.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.0 apg in 30.7 minutes)
PG Troy Hudson (14.2 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 5.7 apg in 32.9 minutes)
Minnesota receives: SF Glenn Robinson (20.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 3.0 apg in 69 games)
PF Chris Crawford (4.8 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.2 apg in 5 games)
Change in team outlook: +11.4 ppg, +5.7 rpg, and -2.5 apg.

Golden State trades: SG Bob Sura (7.3 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 3.2 apg in 20.6 minutes)
C Adonal Foyle (5.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 0.5 apg in 21.8 minutes)
Golden State receives: SG Terrell Brandon (10.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.0 apg in 58 games)
PHX's 2nd Rounder
Change in team outlook: -12.7 ppg, -9.0 rpg, and -3.7 apg.

Atlanta trades: SF Glenn Robinson (20.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 3.0 apg in 37.5 minutes)
PF Chris Crawford (4.8 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.2 apg in 7.6 minutes)
Atlanta receives: SG Anfernee Hardaway (10.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.0 apg in 58 games)
PG Troy Hudson (14.2 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 5.7 apg in 79 games)
Change in team outlook: -0.8 ppg, -1.2 rpg, and +6.5 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

PHX moves Penney's contact and gets a nice SG in Sura and maybe a Back C that can sit on the bench with Big Jake and their contact end next year.

Min. gets something for Brandon in a nice SF that can drain the out side jumper to help with the double teams and ability to move Wally to his beloved SG possition. Unfortunaly, they had to swap Hudson for Crawford for Atlanta to bit.

GS: Gets the much needed cap room to sign Gilbert and are still able to keep the team together and recieves a late 2nd rounder to go along with the deal.

ATL: Get a nice back court that looks like the will work very good together. Since ATL needs to shake up the team this is a good start maybe a future pick as well not to sure...

As the Suns, I'd do that trade in a second.

It's not really a good trade for Minnesota or GS.

It's also a good trade for Atlanta if Penny can stay healthy.

Th cap room that GS would get wouldnt kick in till next summer, so forget about it helping with arenas.

Minny would be able to get someone with far less baggage than big dog I would think. EJ or Brian Grant fromthe heat for starters

Suns would do this deal at a heartbeat.

Since GSW don't get cap room with this trade this summer they wouldn't.

MIN can get a better package for Brandon and Hudson than Glenn Robinson and Chris Crawford. Glenn Robinson is the older, bit more athletic and less reliable version of Wally Szczerbiak so they wouldn't need Big Dig.

Penny would be a good fit to Terry but his contract is longer than Robinson's and Crawford's .They could use Hudson only as Terry's backup so I'm not sure that they would do this trade.

Apparently you didn't watch very many Suns games last season. Do you write for the L.A. Times sports section?

Penny did improve through media but if Marbury, Marion, Stoudemire, or Johnson get hurt ala Penny there would've been slide in record as well (Tsakalidis hurt team as well). Penny is still a decent player that can put up decent stats but he's not this great stabilizer on team IMO (and I have all the games - a few haven't seen - like the Denver home game we lost, I dislike Denver). He was 1 of my favorite players early in career - I'm no hater but think taken too far with the stabilizer statements.

IMO Sura would be able to stableize the team as well if not better. After watching him play for years I would love to see this guy on the Suns.

Doesn't Brandon's contract go off the books this year if he retires like expected? Thus giving them the cap?? I could be mis-informed??

Hudson will not do as well he will be the back-up to Casell thus his value to stay on the team would drop and getting Glenn would be a good pick plus he comes off the books in a year if he doesn't work out.

LOL

I agree with you. Penny is a very important part of this team, and I think the Suns should keep him.

Yes, it does give. In January of 2004.

Hudson was a decent starting PG in a very good team.
He played extremely well in the play-off.

Will his vaue drop or it won't Hudson is a valuable asset.

Ask the Hawks!

As I said earlier Robinson is basically the same player as Szczerbiak and one of them is enough for one team.

No, he doesn't.
Robinson's contract will expire only in 2005.
