Can we sign Brian Skinner already?

Nice fit. Got into a couple times with Baron Davis and the Warriors during the Mavs series....was one of the few mavs not to roll over. High school teammate of Baron Davis.

That's too bad. I was really hoping Croshere could sign with Phoenix. He is 6-10 and can nail the three pointer and rebound. Very aggressive body. Suns could have used him instead of this Pacific Division rival.

And it appears PJ Brown wants the full mid-level exception OR ELSE HE RETIRES for sure. Suns look bleak in his future.

Right now u have 3 players to look for:

-SKINNER
-ELY
-SINGLETON

------------------

But I'd still try to trade BANKS and create money to sign ONE of the guys above alongside a MATT BARNES or RYAN GOMES.

The lack of activity for the SUNS will hurt them this season. They will NOT progress if they continue with this weak rotation.

I'm sure D'Antoni and Kerr know all this. But then again, these two guys are highly incompetent and could tell the difference between a rock and a cotton ball.

I think it's funny that people are STILL talking about trading Banks. I can almost guarantee that if the Suns offered KT and 2 1st rounders, they certainly offered Banks and 2 first before that. And nobody took it.

Yes, and that's probably why the Suns said they will keep Banks and that Banks has a lot of quality basketball in him.

Just some sweet talk from the Suns that really means:

"Sorry guys. We tried so f---ken hard to trade this piece of sh-t and even threw draft picks, but couldn't get it done. He is gonna be a Sun for a long time and therefore he will play very well. Don't worry." -KERR

Rumor has it that they tried to move Banks instead of Jones, but it would have taken both picks.

At this point, the best hope is that Banks get good. He certainly has the talent, he's young, healthy, very athletic, strong, and has some defensive skills. Humprhries has his hands full in turning him into a Suns type player, but he does not have to be perfect to have some positive trade value. Right now, their only real choice is patience and coaching. Nothing else will help.

Back to Croshere, he was grossly overpaid for what he produced. His best year this decade was 2005-06, but last yaer in Dallas his numbers were awful: 11.9 minutes 3.7 ppg, 35.1% shooting and 28.6% for three.

Ahem....you forgot to mention his whopping 3.0 rebounds per game.
