CLE/PHO trade proposal

CLE trade

Ilgauskas

CLE get

Gugliotta
Tsakaladis
2003 1st round pick

CLE get a shorter contract,a C prospect and a good pick.

PHO pick their future C and pay a lot of luxury tax next two seasons. But Ilgauskas is maybe worth and his contract is only a year longer than Gugliotta's.

Ilgauskas' value has got to be higher than that. That's an awful trade for Cleveland.

Why so many trade suggestions lately, hcilla? It just seems like a strange time to be proposing trades. The Suns are in a battle for the final playoff spot in their conference, and teams can't make trades until the summer when we are desperate for things to talk about.

Yep, save the trade proposals until the days leading up to draft night.

Even the ESPN board doesn't have this many trade proposals

As soon as I saw the heading and author of this thread, I knew Ilgauskas was involved.

Actually teams can make trades before 1st July after they played their last actual season's game.

Yep, weren't Marbury and Kidd actually traded before the draft?

This would be the best trade since Joe Barry Caral (SPL) or John "Hot Rod" Williams.

Hcsilla would u make this trade?

Suns:
Thomas
Pryzbilla

Bucks:
Van Horn

76ers:
Penny
1st Round Pick
2nd Round Pick

Suns won't get expiring contract, get younger Thomas that can play - 2, 3, and 4 and Pryzbilla back-up C. 76ers get big PG-SF and draft picks. Bucks get PF.hehe

Cleveland might look to trade Ricky Davis if they keep their top draft pick.

I would love to get him, he would be a pretty good player for the Suns because he would make us better fastbreak team and he fits in pretty nicely with our style of offense.

Maybe Cleveland would be a team that would consider picking up Penny Hardaway because he could be a big PG with Wagner at the 2.

Penny's value should be at least be a lot higher than last summer as it seems like his knee stays healthy and his contract is another year shorter.

Unrealistic trade because I couldn't really figure out anything else that would work salary wise AND involve Davis plus Penny. But I also couldn't figure out anything that basically trades Davis to Phoenix.

Cle trades
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Ricky Davis
Michael Stewart

Phoenix trades
Penny Hardaway
Bo Outlaw
Jake Voshkul
Drops rights to Cleveland's protected first round pick
Drops rights to Cleveland's 2008 second round pick
Trades Phoenix 2004 first round pick top 3 protected

Marbury,Davis,Marion and Stoudemire that would be the Showtime Suns.

I highly doubt that CLE would do this trade even without Ricky Davis.

I never sait it was realistic. I even said that is was unrealistic.

But I think I would rather acquire something like Davis/Diop from Cleveland than Ilgauskas. But try to work out a trade that is small and involves Davis, I didn't get it done because of his BYC status.

And Cleveland is more likely looking to trade Davis than Ilgauskas anyway.
