Can I just say that I hate Shannon Brown's game... the guy is a black hole and almost every shot he takes is a bad shot (well contested). Sure, some of them go in, but they are bad shots. He destroys the offensive flow of this team by being such a selfish player. He gambles on defense trying to get steals & it usually ends up making everyone else scramble & commit fouls.
I'm ready to bench Brown & Hakeem Warrick... both may score 10-14ppg if they get playing time, but both are negatives when they're on the court even when they're scoring and extremely negative when they can't score. They play very little defense, they can't rebound or pass, the don't handle the ball well, their offense is erratic... the only thing they do well is get to the free throw line by initiating contact and occasionally score some points while causing the team to give up even more points.
My rotation:
C: Gortat 32 minutes, Lopez 16 minutes
PF: Frye 32 minutes, Morris 16 minutes (less time for Frye if his shot is off)
SF: Hill 30 minutes, Redd 10 minutes, Dudley 8 minutes
SG: Dudley 28 minutes, Redd 20 minutes
PG: Nash 34 minutes, Price 14 minutes

the Cavs had the best player in the league, we're at the top of it and fell all the way to the bottom... and are ALREADY not only better than us, but in a better position for the future simply because they got the number one pick and have ONE dynamic player to build around.
but yeah... at least Nash keeps putting butts in the seats... oh wait... he doesn't. WTF IS THE PLAN WITH THIS MEDIOCRE PIECE OF CRAP TEAM?!

With the 13th pick in the 2012 draft, the Phoenix Suns select..

"and so on"....that's basically it.
and Gortat doesnt even count.
with first round picks after #10 in any draft after drafting Nash have about a 10% success rate. and with 2nd rounders its 0%. meaning that no second rounder in the past 15 years has made any impact on our team after WE drafted them.
in fact, and this is sad. the ONLY players we have ever drafted in the past 15+ years in picks later than #10 that we considered even being bench players were Casey Jacobsen, Iakovos "Jake" Tsakalidis, and Robin Lopez.
any pick outside them was either garbage or we traded away before they step foot on the floor in a suns uni.

a.) a star player who gets traded away
b.) a role player with "potential" who doesnt ever live up to it.
c.) a garbage player we give up on in less than two years.

Let's hope drafting Morris is the end of that trend. He's the first draft pick we made with Blanks in charge of talent evaluation, so I have some belief that he knows what he's doing. Hopefully there's more picks like that to come, but with a higher draft position than the mid teens so we can actually get some star talent in here.

That`s true asudevil but it`s not my point. The thing is that all of the stats can stand that some guy drafted with 13 number will be a garbage player but reality can prove that he will become solid/great player for a team like Suns. You just can`t say that 2012 draft will be crappy for Suns after 1/6th of the season - don`t you think?
