I'll go with team A, who can stop Amare on team B? Nobody. Hill and Amare combo is better than anything B has.
Plus they have Banks and Bell in the backcourt and Diaw for additional playmaking with Hill.
Banks and Bell would make life hard for Barbosa and Nash and unlike team B have a shotblocker behind them. Banks would probably have his offense going against Nash.
Amare would get shut down by the defensive juggernaut that is Shawn Marion.
__________________ My anti-fashion visions of past and present:
#1. "Trade Marion!"
#2. "Less is more!" Nash needs to play more off-ball like Stockton.
#3. Amare will be as good as Karl Malone, barring further severe injuries!
ad #2: .. Gentry felt Nash's teammates were watching him too much and the offense had become stagnant.... "We felt like we were wearing Steve down," Gentry said. "He had the ball all the time, and he was making all the plays. .... One of the things we looked at was having more ball movement and more people movement but making sure he still had the ball at the end of the shot clock and still making plays . . . when he's fresh."
During practice when Team A faces Team B, I seriously think Brian Skinner is going to really pound it hard on Amare and play some rugged defense.
Plus, Team B has Nash who can distribute to two high-flying ally-ooping forwards in Marion and Tucker so I definately think Team B would handle Team A with ease 3 out of 5 times.
