How does Amare make 3rd team selection, while Marion and Steph are left off?? I mean Amare is good and all, but he isnt even the best forward on our team. I definitely didnt expect to see Stephon up there, since Walton hates him for some erason, but Amare over Marion, or even half of the other forwards he left off???

I'll bet anything Walton made his lists after getting the news leak that Stoudemire won ROY. He's been riding Yao's jock all year long.

The fact that he has Nash on the second team is a joke. Jordan on the third team? Ha!

My thoughts exactly. How Marbury could be snubbed for Jordan is beyond me.
The worst thing about all this? On ESPN radio this evening, Walton said he thought the Suns would pull this series out...in a round about sort of way. Is that a good thing?

I think it's about time Bill Walton stopped dropping acid before writing his articles.

lol, classic joe!
what are your nbc vs. abc thoughts after seeing some games on this season? i'm not really sure which i like better. seems like the lesser of two evils. i still think nbc did a better job but abc has done some new stuff i like. unfortunatly, bill walton has been a part of both. tolbert seems to try to set walton stright which helps.

NBC > ABC. I love Tolbert though, quickly becoming one of my fav's. And Amare on the third team? Stephon and Marion not on any...? I dont know what to say.

Marbury is easily the best point guard in the league. Only a total idiot can put Jason Kidd, Allan Iverson, and Steve Nash ahead of him.
I love Vlade Divac, probably my favorite player of all times, but I don't think he played well enough to be on the all NBA 2nd team. If there was a leadership award or something like that, he should get that, but does not belong on the all NBA team.
MJ??????????????? What the heck was that about?
He couldn't even get his team to the playoffs in the JV conference.
I also love Amare, but come on man, he is not an all NBA material yet. How does a guy who is the third option on his team makes the 3rd team, and the first and the second option don't.
