Any news on Barbosa's return?

I thought I heard someone say he had a return ticket for Monday. Today is Thursday - any news on his projected return? I'm thinking it may be a long while.

I think the Arizona Republic reported that it's going to be quite awhile before Leandro returns to the team.

He should be back Friday and play next week.

Porter might also turn to Boris Diaw or Grant Hill because the team still does not have Leandro Barbosa, who is expected to return from Brazil on Friday but not play until next week.

As much as we need our sparkplug back on the team, he needs to take as much time as he needs to get focused on basketball. If he takes another week off, I dont mind

I agree. I like LB as a person and a bench player. However, he is like a fuel additive when the offense is already playing well, he adds some octane. But LB cannot carry the team as he has never proven to be a clutch player.

As of now, the Suns appear to have regressed from last season and if the ship is not righted soon, I'm not counting on the playoffs. The Suns do not appear to be a mentally tough team.

What's the latest on Tucker? Did he have that surgery yet? I am curious as to what he can do. Maybe he will figure out that if he cuts to the hoop, he will get easy layups, as Bell and Barbosa don't seem to get that.

I think he already had the surgery some time back and is still recovering. However, if the Suns are expecting Tucker to carry the team, well, it's kind of like grasping at straws while drowning. However, I do like Tucker's potential.

He was out at the Suns Celebrity Waiters event last night. Seemed to be in good spirits all things considered. It was nice to see him back.

Good news. Tough times for a young man to say the least.
Hopefully basketball will allow his mind small intervals in between the painful process of grieving.
