here is the thing... Amare is walking this year, and its not like we will have cap space when he does. so he will walk for nothing...
getting a low 1st round pick would be decent at this point.. ANYTHING for STAT at this point would be a good deal..
And the chance to land TT and Salmons while getting rid of JRich and mare would be as close to a dream scerenio for the suns as they could hope for...
lets not forgot, the Suns F.O. is look at by the league as the joke of the NBA, no one is going to give them a legit deal, especially now..
Thats why when I first read this I was estatic, but obviously it WAS too good to be true.... damn...

Gambo said two days ago that the Bulls were not interested in Amare.

Did anyone actually watch the Chicago game a week ago? Tyrus Thomas is AWFUL. The stupidest player in the NBA. And that's being nice.

It's fake.
Compare the real PaulCoro comment to the first post under the afticle. No photo, has links to his profile and blog.
Troll PaulCoro has a photo, and no links. Somebody just used his name.

I guess intelligence is important at some level but I never thought Marion was the smartest player either.

I'll take your word for it but it seems like the Suns have always been high on Thomas for some reason. EJ was really talking up his "athleticism" the last time they played and I remember a lot of noise about the Suns wanting to draft him.

I guess that is the Suns problem, they only use one game to evaluate talent because he has been a difference maker for the Bulls this year. They are 15-7 with him and 8-15 without him this year. That is a big difference and and his nearly 1.5 steals a game and nearly 2 blocks a game are a big reason IMHO. I will keep him for what it is worth. But then again, why would the Suns want a player who could play defense anyways.

You can throw out the block stat. Amare has historically been a good weak-side shot blocker, but that doesn't help his defensive ability, does it? If you're going to use blocks as a gauge for Thomas, you should for Amare as well.
I want someone that can play more than 24 minutes per game if he's going to replace an all-star. And I've seen more than one game with him. There's no denying he's athletic, but he has absolutely no basketball IQ.

This is an Amare for Miller, Thomas + J-Rich for Hinrich, Salmons deal.
While the 1st part is just not enough for Amare, the 2nd part doesn't make any sense for the Suns.
Obviously, that would be a no-brainer for the Bulls.

This trade is too good to be true.
However, to play along Nash needs another ball handler with him on the court at all times because of the constant double teams. Dragic helps but adding Hinrich and Salmons would relieve the pressure on Nash just about all the time. I do think another trade would be forthcoming because the Suns would have too many players not to mention LB will be coming back. Adding Brad Miller and Tyrus Thomas to the mix couldn't help but make the Suns better in the front court now that Amare seems to be totally distracted.
This is certainly better than losing Amare for nothing. It would make the Suns a legitimate playoff contender. Again the Suns would be looking to do another trade.

Wow... this would be Trading offensive firepower for defensive. TT is a better defender than Amar'e; Hinrich is a top-5 defensive PG, IMO; and Salmons is a better defender than J-Rich...
but would Hinrich be your starting SG?? With Nash, Dragic, and Barbosa on roster... maybe another Trade goes down but I've been impressed with Dragic!
Hopefully the Suns get a 1st Rounder in at least one deal, because this has happened 2 times (even though i knew going into this year) but I have 45+ DVD's of game-film (2 games per DVD) and everytime I do that, the Suns Trade a pick or what not! The years i have like 5-10 DVD's, we keep Picks! Lol

Let's pretend this trade was true. I think the only reason we get Hinrich, is if we were entertaining a trade for Nash.
