I was talking to a friend and he mentioned he had been looking at Linn Energy for a while and is thinking of buying some stock in it. I am not the best with the stock market so I wanted to see what some of you guys thought of it.

I don't know the first thing about Linn Energy, but with solar subsidies about to take a hit around the world, I would be looking at any energy company with a long history in domestic natural gas as a longer term investment. Just a semi-educated hunch, but I think that's where the money play is going to be in the U.S. for the next 10 years.
