Congrats! Good job. But a couple of things.

First - it would be more helpful if you posted symbol, name, exchange:

C - Citigroup - NYSE

Second, tell us why you chose that stock in which to invest.

Thrid, look at there historical income statements. What did they do to improve?

I bought C because it does a mind boggeling amount of business, most of which is abroad. If they could survive the mortgage deals it was a twenty bagger which it still is to me. This is not the first time C went to single digits only to rebound back into the 40's, 50's etc.

They simply improved by being able to handle the default and having to set aside less money for future mortgage defaults.

Once the defaults end its back to making massive amounts of money.

I also now officially have a second stock winner. (I have help many stocks that were down as much as 80% and they are finally recovering.

VMware VMW. Went from 120 to 60 where I bought. Went as low as 19.

My biggest holding is NYX - New York Stock Exchange Euronext with an average price of 47. I still have a ways to go. My first purchase was at 92 dollars a share. But its finally back to mid 30's!!!

Once the defaults end...

Yeah once we clear this here giant wave, all that sailing stuff should be downhill from here.

Conrad, are you still in your shorts? (that sounds kinda personal, doesn't it? )

I've been accumulating VXX, TZA & FAZ for the past several weeks, just in case the Euro thing blows up. Or the GS thing blows up. Or the the new TBTF legislation gains some traction. Or any one of a hundred Swans decide to show up to the party like the Elliott Wave guys seem to be indicating.

I'd be nervous about C myself right now, but that's probably just me.
