LeBron Chooses Miami

It was hardly a secret so few reporters were all that surprised that LeBron decided that joining Bosh and Wade gave him the best chance of winning a championship.

As I suggested yesterday, this may prove to be a disaster in NY. Amare cannot carry a team on his own and the Knicks don't have much talent left. The Bulls at least look like a quality team. The Nets came up empty, but they have some telent. At teast NY has some quality night life.

Amare handled his leaving professionally. I hope NY does not dump all their woes on him. New York needs to upgrade their roster fast. I wonder if NY has ever approached Phoenix about Nash or Barbosa.

I like how Chris Broussard and ESPN tried to take credit for this story.... Stephen A. Smith broke this story early last week declaring that Wade, Bosh and Lebron were all headed to Miami. He got slammed, but stuck to his guns. Now ESPN tries to sweep in to take credit.

Three games into the season and I don't think that the Big 3 in MIA are averaging 50 combined points. It's early, but they're going to need to average 70 ppg combined to end up with a strong team. It would actually be kind of funny if they averaged less than 60 ppg and snuck into the playoffs barely....
