Superspck:
I'm going to be looking to see how often the EEA blitzes on 3rd and short...that may be a good one to go heavy on the HB screen play.

Good idea! I was just going to look at them to see if I can get a feel for holes.

Speaking of holes - I noticed in our last game against them they stuffed our running attack.
That was the game inwhich we had an olinemen play FB...which we eventually canned.
I think we'll do much better in that area.

Here's what I'm thinking. We were the last quality team they may have played, BUT we were working with the built in advantages of the WR Screen and Strong I runs the programing gave us.
I reviewed the last couple of "quality" teams they played and I didn't see as much of the screen as I thought, so I don't think we should walk away from it entirely.
I'd also like to see your wildcat in action, but they're LB's are quick enough where I don't think it'll be super-successful.
The LB's are hyper aggressive, so the HB screen will probably be there to help us out.
I think going a little heavier on the pass will help us in the long run.
Thoughts?

Not sure what's been changed in Tactics, so let me know when it's safe to change stuff around.
Not sure if we're going to use another preset for this game or if this is what we're going with, etc etc. Don't want to screw with something.

LOL...yeah the only real way to make the GLB defensive assignments is generally preparing for anything in a "reactionary" way.
I just finished updating the def AI so those jokers won't key into anything.

It's safe - I saved the offense as JH 12.11.08
Remember to set the exact pass play you need to set the distance.
A couple of points:
- Delete any of the other offenses you don't want. I don't have a claim to any of them.
- Save your updates w/ a "date"...so we know whats the latest.
- The HB Slam is a good accent to a well rounded singleback set of plays. It can't singlehandedly win a game for us like the Strong I OT can - but it will definitely keep the EEA honest in not overplaying the WR/HB screens.
- In fact if Teams that shift LB's in Singleback - they can be killed by the run - LOOK FOR THIS.
- The HB Screen in the strong I is a good balance for the run game.
- In singleback passing plays - I'd put the FB in as HB1 for pass protection.
Have fun!

FYI - I redid the J0kers Equipment to get more speed.
He just wasn't getting open.
He still has good hands - but doesn't run like my grandmother.

So do you want me to adjust the preset we've got loaded or would you prefer I not goof with it? It looks good, I'd just have to add a couple of those plays.
Cleaned out the presaves, I likey me cleanliness.
Looking forward to adding more singleback stuff. I think our RB's have the guts to make a FBless game work.

Depth chart was taken down to make it tougher to play the match-ups.
But go with this for the blocking schemes:
Pass play specific:
HB1: Bull-In ChinaCabinet
Pass/Run
TE1: Brian "Piledriver" Calusky
