Game 10 Leningrad Czars vs. Athens Attack (Strategy, Tactics)

We have to win this and we can. We are very even with them and just need to be smart, I mean, I need to be smart and fix the defense quick.

en sabah made a few changes to his equipment before last game, got rid of stamina & vision and set it all to speed (spd, agility & catch are all at the soft cap), but the stamina took a hit after 90 plays on hard, and I won't be able to get back to 100 before gametime (will be 96 after no-training)

Think he should sneak back into the slot? or should I play on normal this game until I level up and can drop some pts. back in stamina?

I will put ESN back to the slot.

Just something I noticed - this year our CBs have been getting burned more than ever before. I remember reading somewhere that BORT was going to tweak the WRs / CBs matchups for this season.

Should we consider having the CBs play a little more off of the WRs?

I think the Safetys should as they are getting burned too.

What do you guys think? Or should we just keep the same strategy?

We might need to look at everything a bit more...I'm starting to think we're giving the QB a bit more time than last year.

I know my tackles and hurries are down - but the big reason is that I'm dealing with 2-4 blockers....which is to be expected.

But I think in the 3-4 the LDE has to be a heavy on strength - which I'm at 50ish...decent but not strong enough to pull the double teams needed to free up the LBs.

BRB is more a speed/agility package. I've been reading that with a strong 3-4 D-line the DT/DE's can make better gaps to help stuff the run and allow the inside linebackers to zip through the holes (i.e. QB pressure) and if the offense goes outside..that's where the speed OLB can close that off.

Maybe we should alternate between 4-3 on running downs with some 3-4 with run blitzing LBs and 3-4 on passing downs? Another idea is perhaps we need to go with a DT at the LDE even though we would take the position hit.

Not that it helps much - but by next season this guy will be ready to jump in as a czar and should help out the d-line. He's also a lvl 3 dline general - that should give an added boost.

Those were all my exact same thoughts for the defense.

What you do with the WR's, keep Thunder where he is at. He is tearing it up. He is averaging 100 yards a game now.

Some tactics have changed for some players, please update your players!!!!!!!!! We have been getting our asses handed to us in the passing game, so I am switching it up a bit. Everyone is passing heavy on us now and we need to stop it.

Defense, Backups on Hard intensity and starters on Normal.

Tackling Style: Wrap up (All)

Play Type: Pass (All)

Man Coverage: Close (LB and DL) Medium (Secondary)

Coverage Style: Medium (ALL)

Pass Rushing: Elusive (All)

Nice game. We held the passing game in check. I think it is coming together, although the 40 year run early does not make me happy since it had 3 missed tackles.

Argh - that 40 yarder was on me.

BRB should of had him.

I didn't see this until after the game and I didn't adjust my tactics for J-BAD, sorry. I was still playing tight cover. It did result in 10 tackles, 5 PD, 2 INT and 1 TD though.
