Wild Logo

I admit that I did not know until last night that this logo is not just a picture of wilderness. And I bet I'm not the only one...admit it!

For the longest time I never saw the H in the Hartford Whalers logo, which is the reason for its brilliance.

I really don't like the Wild name or logo, though I hear seeing a Wild game in St. Pauls is a fantastic experience. The North Stars were a classic name and logo, this feels too much like the work of an uninspired committee.

And the Hartford Whalers logo is one of the great logos of all time. The H, the W, and the whale tail in such a simple logo? Brilliant. I also how love that their junior team in Binghampton just turned the logo on its side and it became a "B"!

I don't really like the name, but love the wild logo

Also, Xcel center is probably the best venue I've been in - the place is state of the art and has a great feel to it

the guy who did a lot of their community outreach/interaction/game day experience stuff is the same guy who the seahawks brought in for that role

the northstars were much more fitting though

the MN "State of Hockey" stuff is pretty good - really took off in 02-03 with their playoff run

I also really liked the whalers logo and it was kind of sad being in hartford and really seeing no signs that they ever existed

finally Chickenhead - there is absolutely no P in Binghamton (pronounced bing-uhm-tin) .... then again we have absolutely no expectation for downstaters to know such things

Haha, sorry about that. I actually have a few friends who went to SUNY Binghamton--they wouldn't be pleased.
