Tocchet and the Coyotes part ways. Weird considering they fought so hard to bring him back for so long. WEIRD

Tocchet is buds with Melrose, who will be Tampa Bay's head coach. Nice of Toc to bolt to the Bolts after the Coyotes stuck with him through that gambling probe suspension. His contract was up at the end of June, so time to cut ties with him. The team's performance actually plummeted after he returned behind the bench on February 7, he shouldn't be missed here.
