I have an idea that'll increase goal scoring 100% over last year: Play Hockey.
I know it's revolutionary, and may be seen as detrimental to the game as we've come to know it, but if they give it a shot a whole generation of fans will appreciate the game in a whole new way.

I got an email alert from the coyotes yesterday that American Idol was coming to the Glendale Arena. I wrote the guy back and said that I could care less - and that until they start playing hockey I don't want to hear from them again.

I think all those email alerts about Glendale Arena events are automated emails, so its doubtful you will get a hold of anybody with your reply. IIRC, there should be an unsubscribe link somewhere on the email.
Oh, and you are right. Bring back hockey.
