Coyotes win opener 2-1 in OT

Tanabe scores the winning goal in overtime as the Coyotes beat the Blues 2-1. What you really notice with this year's team is the the team speed. They look much faster.

The defense looked solid, especially the penalty killing. Burke played great. Hopefully he can stay healthy all year. The negative tonight was there were too many penalties.

Too many BS penalties ....

Got back from the game and had a blast - great to see hockey in full swing again!

Team speed looks very good overall and the Yotes were pretty good on the forecheck tonight.

Good win - esp over Tka-choke and the Blues

I can't believe they beat St. Louis!! I HATE St. Louis!! Hope this team "overachieves" again like two years ago. I want to see them bring a wiining season into the new arena!
