Tailgating ???
Hello, I am from Canada, myself and four friends will be coming to Phoenix for Monday Night Football on Nov.10/08, I've heard so much about tailgating before the game, it something we don't do here in Canada, anyway my Question is can you tailgate/party if you come to the game by cab? Is there designated areas where Adult Refreshments can be purchased? Or do you bring your own? Is there certain sections of the parking lot that are better than others?? Any feedback would be welcomed, and if you want to party with 5 crazy Canadians before the game let me know where we shoud go and what we should bring.........Thanks in advance, chad

Welcome.
You can purchase the adult refreshments at the game. Before and after the game, you bring your own food and drink.
I personally think that the lot that we are in (Green Lot F) is the best for the tailgating, as it is grass, and it isn't as hot.
Bring whatever you guys want.
Hope you stick around.

If a cab dropped you off, you could walk with a cooler.
There is no place, other than inside the stadium to buy refreshments.
Hope this helps.

if coming by cab you could have a couple side issues - mainly that you can't buy booze and walk around with it outside the stadium and you can't bring a lot of stuff into the stadium
basically that means:
there are bars around the stadium - they'll sell you drinks - but you have to drink them in the establishment, so you're really not tailgating
that means if you want to tailgate you need to bring your own food & drink - but do it in a way that is easy to transport
when i'm going lightweight tailgating I usually pack a couple sandwiches in a bag I'll throw away and either some tall cans of beer or a couple whiskey/cokes into a collapsable cooler
finish the food and drinks before the game - dump the ice and security will let you in with an open, empty collapsable cooler (the flimsy kind that you can fold over - like a beer purse)
also be social, as you will not have a place to squat - feel free to wander around and talk to other parties that are going on
most importantly - have fun

You need to make it to St Louis one of these times for the AZ/Stl game. We have a great out of town tailgate party that is growing every year! GO BIG RED!!!

Tailgating is one of the greatest things one can do before a game.
