Definitely not a big deal in any way, shape or form. At worst this is a level 2 infraction that will be used as a warning against UA, just like any other university.

Letters were sent with his electronic signature. Regardless of whether he had knowledge or not that is a clear cut violation of NCAA rules.

Why shouldn't it be looked into?

I'm sure if this happened to Herb Sendek the investigation would be justified, eh?

Sure it should be looked into. But...even if he DID do it, the punishment would be the NCAA saying "ok, don't do that again". Nothing to see here. Move along.
