Wow what a game by Oregon ST beating USC 27-21 things just got a little more intresting in the pac 10, I thought for sure that usc would recover the onside kick and go on to score the winning td but glad I was wrong would hate to be a usc player heading back to campus today lol. Man just really sucks now that ASU lost to unlv but we can still turn it around and have a decent season now. By the way Oregon st rb is amazing he is small but he is quick and made some real nice moves tonight vs a hard usc defense.

The way Oregon St. smashmouthed USC by running right up the gut made me pretty concerned about facing them.

Wowzers, now with Keegan returning, maybe ASU has an outside chance at Roses.
Very doubtful.
ASU's schedule the rest of the way is a nightmare. Five of eight road games including a Northwest doubleheader in cold, rainy November where the sunny schools almost always play poorly and a back-to-back starting next week against the two most talented teams in the conference.
USC will end up winning the Pac, their toughest game from here on out is a roadie in Tucson which they'll probably win and this year 8-1 will take the conference easy. 7-2 probably earns a co-championship but to get to the Rose one of those W's will have to come against USC as I don't see them losing more than one more game and ASU doesn't have the horses to run the table against the rest of the conference with so many roadies.

Technically USC losing makes it harder for everyone else to make the Rose Bowl. If USC is unbeaten they're in the MNC game not the Rose Bowl, with one loss the odds of them ending up in the Rose Bowl increase assuming they win the Pac 10 which still seems likely.

I don't know about SC winning out. I would not be surprised at all if they stumble again, maybe even more than once.

Depends, if Maualuga's knee is bad and if Mays and Wright are out for awhile that could be a problem. But on paper USC was head and shoulders more talented than anybody else in the conference IMHO.
This loss is going to piss them off they won't overlook anybody else.
About the only way I see them losing again in conference is if they need one more conference win to get in the MNC game again. Pete seems to find a way to blow those games recently. But the last game of course is UCLA and I kind of think that game will be closer to BYU-UCLA this year than UCLA-USC 2 years ago(13-9 game).
Typical of Pete Carroll teams. At least once a year they seem to lose to an inferior opponent. Frankly, so do many other top teams. That's college football and that's why it's so entertaining.
It's way too soon to know what to make of this. Just like not knowing what the ASU loss to Georgia means yet, in the prognosis for the rest of ASU's year.
I'm looking forward to this weekend's games already.
