On a side note, Lunardi was perfect with his predictions.

this is the biggest load of crap ive seen since last years Syracuse debacle. 1/3 of UA
's pac wins were against the worst team in pac history. i just can't believe this.

Not over Arizona, the Cats had a better resume.
The committee says every year they reward teams that play more difficult schedules. ASU has nobody to blame but themselves for their NIT berth. Their OOC schedule is an embarrassment and you simply can't lose to Washington and Cal at home.

Um I'm saying that because we lost Bayless and still mainted a respectable record. That loss obviously effected the team. Nic Wise hurt bad too.
I'm not making excuses. Im just saying I think the committee took that into account.
OT Dick Vitale is all over the selection team for leaving out ASU and putting in UA.
Bilas put him in his place though

I wouldn't expect you to understand when you're only looking at things from a small perspective.

The Same way Stanford explains Northwest State, UC Santa Barbera, Colorado State (WOrse than Oregon State), Yale, Sacremento State, Santa Clara
WAZZU- Montano, MVSU, Idaho, Portland St, North Carlina A&T, Citidel, Portland St.,
Or you- UMKC- Who the hell is that?, Adams State, CSFL, and NAU..
I could go on and on... EVERY TEAM schedules those kind of games... ASU didn't schedule more than the others, its just the tough games they schedueled, weren't as good as they have historically been...

My question to you is how you would feel about ASU's potential performance in Lawrence, KS?
I think we beat you the first game with Bayless hands down. I give you guys all the credit in the world for the game in Tucson.
Sendek took KO to school.
The bad news is we have our white knight riding in on a horse for next year to restore the balance to this "rivalry"

Excellent job this year on your difficult schedule...you managed to play quite a few good teams and lost to every one of them. Xavier is far superior to anyone you beat this year. We beat you twice, and had a better conference record. Only an idiot would claim that U of A had a better year than ASU. It's another crap college system that rewards teams for idiotic reason such as reputation and injuries. It's pretty obvious when every analyst says ASU got screwed.

Yeah, but you arent competeing against us for a seed you were competing against Baylor, Nova, ect...
ASU should be in, but UA was not one of the last 4 in. ASU definately should be in over at least Baylor. That Georgia win and the refs cost you guys a birth.

Our SOS was 2 while yours was 82. Your team would be well below .500 with the same SOS.

Xavier is about the same as USC and Wazzu, both of whom we beat away from home. UNLV is another quality road W. Your only quality win away from Tempe this whole year came against us in Tucson. And since UA is such a joke according to you ASU fans that probably shouldn't count as a quality W unless you insist on talking out of both sides of your mouth.
Two of the selection comittee big points are quality scheduling and performance away from home. We have you dead to rights in both of those areas along with multiple other factors. The only one you have on us is the one game margin in the Pac-10 but everything else we have in our favor clearly outweighs that.

Trust me, we don't consider the two wins over U of A on the same level as Xavier, Stanford and USC. I think everybody knows U of A got in on reputation.
