Not, like, each individual. Some of them are pretty decent human beings. But as a group of fans there is none I despise more. I don't wish them bodily harm, except, maybe some gastrointestinal discomfort during their stay in Tempe.

I don't remember them being this annoying in the mid 90s, I think its just their recent success has attracted a lot of bandwagon d-bags and they are the annoying ones. They act like USC has always been great and always will be, its agitating indeed.
I have taken 2 trips to Southern Cal for games and thought that the fans were really cool both times. It's easy to be gracious when you will all the time though.

USC fans (as a group) have no respect for the other programs in the conference. In separate incidents, I've had USC fans tell me they don't sweat a conference loss too much because, "USC matters [nationally] and you don't." It's the height of myopia.
Isn't Russ a USC fan? He's a good guy. There are some respectable USC fans, more than a lot of Pac-10 schools, IMO. But no program on this side of the country can match the megalomania of Trojans fans. There's a whole legion of Trojans who want Pete Carroll fired because they have no faith in his ability to continue the current run. One Carroll hater has taken to referring to USC as "10-2 U." And that's an awful thing to him.

Unfortunately since Pete Carroll has arrived he's right.

I like some of USC's players in football(and basketball) but I'm not a fan. Cal in football UCLA in hoops.
My main problem with USC is how they set about being relevant. They got a good football coach, by accident he wasn't their first choice, and then Garrett and the president(Sample) basically said ok we're lowering our academic standards so you can recruit better.
Then the new basketball coach took it one step further. Now I know Carroll is a better coach than his predecessor but don't you think he could have recruited better without having to worry about grades?
USC grads are tremendously well networked, the stories you hear about jobs in So Cal(or anywhere) are incredible, and in some cases borderline discrimination where they hire a guy because he's an SC grad and so is the boss. But they are incredibly well connected. Look at how they got the funds together quickly for the Galen Center in hoops, UCLA has tons of rich alums but is having a much tougher time getting money to renovate Pauley.
I don't hate their fans as much as I hate going to games there! You have to worry about getting shot/robbed while making it to and from the game. Not a good area at all! The fans seemed nice enough though.

But really, you know what's a great joke? ASU's national title count.
-Or for that matter, their lack of any significant bowl wins - oh wait you have been to the rose bowl 2 times in the decades it has been around. CONGRATS, go nuts!
