"good teams" don't let themselves be trapped, and certainly not be beyond atrocious non-conference lightweight opponents.

i don't know about this either - I don't think a road game across the country on primetime can really be considered a trap game. And I don't know how amped we'll be for the game. That loss probably took a hell of a lot of wind out of the team's sails and it's gonna be tough for them to get that back in a week. hope to be proven wrong, but I doubt it.

To further your argument look to the Ohio State game where they were "trapped" by Ohio. And then went out a laid an egg in their "big" game.

Good luck Devils. I'll actually be pulling for you to get some our conferences respect back.

Good teams don't get trapped? USC last year vs Stanford and UCLA. West Virginia vs Pitt. There are more. I'm too lazy to research it anyway.

A rivalry game is never a trap game so USC/UCLA and WVU/Pitt don't really apply as well as the fact that those games are the last of the regular season.

And considering the Stanford game last year versus USC was lodged in between the two bad Washington programs and pathetic UofA/Notre Dame teams I'm not sure how that is a trap game either. USC lost that game because Pete Carroll decided to play Booty through a broken hand and he was missing his WR's by about ten feet.

Man what a ugly loss vs UNLV, next week game vs Georgia is kind of a hard one for me because I was raised in Georgia so i'm also a huge bulldog fan.... I will probally have to root for Georgia next week since they have a shot at a national championship, if asu would have won though I would have pulled for the Sundevils . I mean how do you lose to freaking UNLV the week before the biggest game for the devils in a long time really disgusting .
