Yeah combination of great ASU defense and Howland milking the clock and not getting good shots as a result. He does that a lot, against man it works you start at 10 seconds, DC breaks his man down adn we get a good shot. Against a matchup zone you need more than 10 seconds, so we got a lot of bad shots that missed.

Great comeback by ASU, worst part is Cal lost so UCLA would be in first alone if they held the lead, but I knew they wouldn't go unbeaten.

I went to the game and I was proud to be an ASU fan. That was a great game....although I really didn't think we had a chance of winning it the last few minutes of regulation.

I will say this, as well as ASU played, it's a good sign for UCLA's defense that they went scoreless the last 8 minutes of a game and still even got to OT.

The key was ASU was in the bonus so they got FT's. If Shipp doesn't foul Harden on that last regulation play we might win in regulation, ASU had only 2 FG's in the last 8 minutes themselves, but they made FT's.

UCLA was taking so many 3's they didn't force any fouls and were not in the bonus.

Nice win for ASU sucks to lose like that but the Cards win more than made up for it.

of course. but I'll trade a UCLA loss early in conference play for the Cards going to the Super Bowl every year.

In fact while watching our game at the half I said to the guy I was watching it with, after UCLA yesterday, I refuse to get over confident.

I knew the Cards were going to win, UCLA blows the lead to ASU, I lose $140 at the casino Saturday night, I just knew I'm too nice of a person to get hosed 3 in a row like that.
