Xbox 360 introduced on MTV at 9:30
Reminder...should be interesting. I'll be at their press conference and party next week but I'm still excited to see this one.
Mods, can we keep this in here until the show starts, then banish off to the everything else forum?

Yep, tonight. Thursday the 13th.
The Killers perform, Elijah Wood hosts, etc.
Pretty interesting, from a marketing standpoint as well...launching the product PR campaign on MTV pre E3.

They will likely be showing some video of games, etc.
And I'm wondering if they show it in a color...doubtful it ships in that silver color. I like the controllers though...

That was a can of ass.
I have a sneaking, sneaking suspicion that PS3 is going to blow the doors off Xbox 360.
I'll get both tho...

For all intents and purposes, its both. Gamers are no longer happy with just a gaming machine anymore (or at least thats what the manufacturers are claiming any way).
Like DDogg I feel this gonna be inferior to PS3, this looks rushed.

Man, Sony should just ram that down everyone's throat. We took longer because we wanted to make it better. They've always beat people to market, but they are so huge right now that they can get away with getting beat to market by touting their commitment to excellence. Could be huge marketing strategy for them. Plus, I think they'll be able to back it up...dunno about the wireless controller angle though, but I think they will beat Xbox 360 in most other areas. This time....

The expected launch price is between $400-$500 for the basic version and around $700 for a "special" improved version (whatever that means)

$300 basic. $500 w/ controller and game bundle.
Go to the websit and look at the graphics. The website is posted on the Suns room. It looks so lifelike I thought it was a real person. It blew my mind.
If PS3 can top that, I would be shocked.
