Whoops! Xbox360 has been hacked

The kiosk disks that was sent with the Xbox360 demos has open code on it. Seems Microsoft was in such a rush to push these out they didn't put any protection on the disks. Thus they are allowing people to view the code and should allow the games and the entire system to be hacked. Stupid Microsoft.......

I believe it means that playing X-Box Live is now pointless for games like Call of Duty because they can hack the game and cheat.

Confirmed Fake: XBOX.360.Boot.Disk.Edited.NTSC.READNFO-LiThIuM

Ok ok, earlier on nurd posted the nfo file from a so called bootdisk nfo. People are saying that the so called boot disk has been flying around newsgroups with stories of success. We highly believe this is a fake, it was only yesterday that the Experience disk was made available by Team PI...and this is by no means an instant gateway to such a bootdisc. Some of you have even seen the nfo file at Console-news.

News Source: MaxConsole Forums

A certain webshop is also plugged in the nfo file for this so called release, it could well likely be just a shameless PR attempt.

Consol-News have now nuked this, confirming a fake.

Yeah, I'm really not going to be buying too much of these rumors, and you can bet more will come out.
