As for the game's length, 8-10 hours is typical for adventure games (ie GOW 2 was 9 hours long).
Yeah, I know other successful games have done it as well, but for me to get all that interested in an 8-10 hour game it better either have a multiplayer component or really good replayability. Just my opinion, of course.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan but this game doesn't intereste me much. Not my genre I guess. Last Star Wars game I really enjoyed was X-Wing (Tie Fighter was good too).

Dark Forces was a good one. As was Shadows of the Empire.
I loved Rogue Squadron, it had an arcade-quality accessibility that I found appealing.
Of course, if you mention a Star Wars game, you'd better say a prayer to KOTOR, or the muse that whispered in the ear of Lucas will come down from the heavens and beat your with a 250 lb fanboy.
I think the game is cool. We rented both for the 360 & Wii. This really is a demo to me of what is possible on next gen systems. The game is not perfect but still loads fun to play using the force. It has it's issues but is still a blast to play.
In terms of differences, the 360 visuals blow the Wii away and the gameplay is more fustrating on the Wii despite the tease of using your Wii remote as a Light Saber. Each verison has its own merits. Ultimately, I look at the Wii version as the ultimate tease. Ever since I had seen the video of the developer who using a Wii created a demo where the Wii remote could be used as a light saber using real time movements, that is what I have wanted in a game. Using the Wii remote to initiate moves with the light saber is not the same thing. Like I said...a tease.
After a little while your slashing your Wii remote to make the moves starts to feel random. There are times when the camera could not keep up. Not precise at all. Although being able to use one hand for force moves and the other to initiate force moves is cool in some ways. Again, though if feels like a tease. This by no means is the Star Wars fan dream come true.
I would recommend the 360 version (or PS3 version). The visuals are better, the audio is better and the presentation is better on the 360. Once the novelty of the Wii remote wears thin on you, you will wish you bought the other version (360 or PS3).
Give me a game with a free weilding Light Saber a la the Wii remote. Then I would be in heaven. It seems to me the perfect opportunity to do this would have been in duel mode. I guess it wasn't meant to be this time around.

They're working on a Clone Wars game for the WII that aims to do just that.

No the game mechanics will be the same. Swing the Wii remote and it initiates a move. Not a ree form light saber game.
In terms of Star Wars Foce Unleashed....I am reallying enjoying this game on the 360. Very cinematic feel. Also, the writing on this story if very worthy to a new CGI film by Lucas me thinks. Actually, the time after Episode 3 but before Episode 4 is what interests me the most. I would love to see some story about Darth hunting down scattered Jedi through the galaxy.

And coming up next... Bioware returns with more KOTOR. Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. Not a fan at all of MMOs, hopefully this game will be the one that changes my mind. No word yet if its PC only though.
