sadly, I come on here at work and cant watch videos but I am assuming it is the football game with the legends and pretend teams?

Buying that game is like buying "Tony Kornheisers CFL 2009"

I need real football and real cardinals....in the right positions...

nevermind I thought you were comparing it to APF08 and this was apf09.

I have the newest game informer at home with pics and an article but I got pissed off at madden 08 and didnt read the article on 09. My guess is that the controls will suck, you will still be able to watch what play your buddy picked instead of him having 4 plays on screen with different button designations. You will also not be able to sub players into the spots on the roster they are supposed to have, no matter what your gameday program says the roseter update will still be wrong. You will have to push start just to access the menu and then sit through all kinds of stupid **** navigating to find what you need. Hardcore ranked will not be in multiplayer, 40 yd dash will still be boring and stupid. The jump from all pro to all madden will be a difference of 40 points per team again. The replays, cams and cardinals stadium will still be garbage and lastly, I will be pissed off.

First thing I'm doing in Madden 09 is turning off "rewind" as well as the stupid looking skill icons.

We've got too many Madden threads.
There's 2 in the Cardinal forum, and a couple in the Gaming one.
I'm double posting to make sure all people interested in Madden get a chance to read through this:

Ok, here are a couple of developer blogs.
Promises from a creator can seem hollow if they're not great at following through, but they deserve the benefit of the doubt:

Agreed. Can't do anything about the Cards forum, but the ones here I merged into the sticky at the top of the page.

Yeah, that's why I decided on a sticky this time around. I think we had four or five different Madden threads last year.

Well i'm going to be buying madden 09 mainly because its the only football game on the market I was real disapointed with madden 08 franchise was boring and the online play was so so. I just hope they add more details to franchise like maybe a option be it a small one like team meetings to focus on certain player watching film before the game etc you figure they could add this in next gen heck nfl 2k5 had it for crying out loud on reg xbox. I'm not expecting big things but i'm a fooball fan and need a football videogame and madden 09 is my only choice maybe i'll be surprised and it turns out be a good game unlike 08

I think the one thing I'd like to see is being able to make wholesale subsitutions...When you're whipping the other team, just put in the entire 2nd string.

Isn't this option in Madden? I know its in NCAA, but I thought it was in Madden as well.
