The combat system is pretty cool. Basically, you click on the foe and then a sword icon will appear and when it turns orange, you time your click to see if you can do extra damage. I like this better than the click 400 times a second to kill something in other games.

I play KOTOR and Mass Effect all the time. I'm really looking forward to Fable II and Fallout 3. I've never liked pen and paper RPGs really.
Mass Effect is one of the greatest games of all time. I still need to get a copy of the first KOTOR, I beat the second one but have only played a little bit of #1.
Baldur's Gate II is another game that I still play after all this time.

KOTOR is so much better than KOTOR 2 it isn't even funny. KOTOR 2's ending was rushed and never felt complete. KOTOR however is a very complete and compelling story.
