Just bought an Xbox 360

Finally moved on from my PS2. I figure I got a pretty good deal in addition to the recent price drop. Amazon was offering a $60 gift card (basically enough for a new game) with the Elite version plus they don't charge tax for Arizonans (probably another $35).

I borrowed Assassin's Creed and bought Madded 09. Played one game on Madden and didn't like it that much (the game, the console is great). Maybe it's just that I have to get used to the Xbox controller. I've been on a PS2 til now.

Depending upon your genre of choice, you should have a pretty good catalogue of inexpensive games to choose from at this point. You could probably get all three Halos for around the price of a new game. COD4 has been mentioned. Gears of War is great fun and should be cheap. And those are just a few of the great FPSes available.

F.E.A.R. is a good one as well.

Heck, I should sell you all of the titles I have for next to nothing since I'm pretty much stuck on RB right now.

6. Great location - other than being located in the People's Democratic Republic of Seattle.

I went by Gamestop the other day and saw some cheap used games. Might have to go that route for awhile after spending money on the accessories. Darn wireless internet adapter

Congrats. My brother in law and one of my nephews just bought a 360 thanks to the price drop. They both had a field day at the used game store calling me for recommendations. The 360 has a great game library and there are lots of used games at decent prices now because of it.

I downloaded the demo and it was so good that I bought it.

I also have Call of Duty 2, Two Worlds, and Guitar Hero 3. I also bought Fable for the original Xbox because I'm getting Fable 2 when it comes out and I wanted to play through the first one.
