Hitman 2 - Silent Assassin
I just finished up this game a few weeks ago on PS2.
I played the first version on the Pc - Hitman Codename 47 - & I liked the controls much better & game play much better on PS2.
The graphics are awesome!
Enter the realm of a retired assassin, forced back into action by treason. You may be a hired killer but you still have a sense of loyalty and justice.
Visit the dark recesses of a world corrupted by crime, greed, degradation and dishonour.
And a past that catches up with you.
Trust no one - if the price is right, the finger of your most trusted ally will be on the trigger.
Your targets may hide in the most remote areas of the planet, but their destruction is never prevented - only postponed.
Learn your trade - master your tools - overcome your obstacles - outsmart your enemies - eliminate your targets. Remember - rash decisions bleed consequences. Know when to strike instantly, know when to take your time. Chance favours the prepared player. Failure is not an option - it is a privilege reserved for those who do not try hard enough.
You have returned - and you will track down the organization that forced you out of retirement. You may find that the enemy is closer than you think - retrace your steps, and you will prevail.

Both of those games kick ass!
Only Splinter Cell exceeds the standard set forth by the Hitman series!

What was your favorite weapon?
I used the 9mm silencer most of the time, but the silenced .45 ballers were cool.
For sniper guns, I liked the Cutsom Sniper - it was silened too.

That's all well and good, but nothing beats piano wire!

When I first started playing this I was really frustrated with the stealth modes (I've never been any good at avoiding detection). So I started playing as a one-man hit team and I liked it a lot more. Something satisfying about getting home from a crappy day at work and wiping out every breathing thing on a level (weapon of choice - Ballers). I got mass murderer rating on each level played!

Splinter Cell -
Another game sitting on my shelf I haven't played yet. I got it as a freebie inside the box of my video card.
Maybe I will get to it next year. Sheesh.

You must play it, and beat it, or you will not be considered a man anymore!
