Computer game- Jezzball?

Anybody know where to get this game either to play online or to download?

IIRC it was part of a Microsoft service pack and probably at this point it was 10 years ago that I played it. Hard to explain but you basically were "trapping" bouncing balls until you cleared a certain % of the screen. It was HIGHLY addictive.

I've found knockoffs etc online before but I've never found the real game.

Looked like a souped up Pong or something but something about that game I just loved.

http://www.jezzball.org

It's not the real thing, but it is essentially identical (except for photographic background).

Yeah I played that one before but something seemed different, not sure what it was, speed, something, maybe just I'm 10-12 years older than the last time I played it.

I may try it again though.

thanks

Wow....didn't Jezzball originally come out for Windows 3.11??

Ah....those were the days.....try to print and watch your computer lock up.

Asked around about this.......somebody said it is called Wildball now....might want to check that out.

I think it's the missing sound effects.

I found a copy of the Microsoft Entertainment pack which does have Jezzball as well as a bunch of other games:

I also recommend the chips challenge game.

You're trying to "trap" the balls in smaller and smaller areas until you wipe out the required area and go to the next level. the best method is to create a long narrow "pipe" that balls bounce into and then trap them. Typically you have to sacrifice a life or two to get that. I realize by today's game standards it's archaic as hell but once you get into it the thing is pretty addictive.
