Josh Bell

The past few weeks I've been playing MLB 2K11 season as a switch-hitting, power-hitting 3B. D-Backs went on a 20-4 tear as soon as I was called up from Mobile. My first home run came off Aaron Harang.

Just saying ...

Bell needs to work on his fielding something terrible. That's something that I think Matty can help him with. His footwork is awful and he spends way to much letting the ball play him rather hm playing the ball. But then his is a AAA ballplayer and I'll be surprised if he can't get the coaching he needs from the Marine to make him be a better fielder.

Who is "the Marine"? Do we have a coach that actually earned that title?

Can't tell if you're joking or not, but I think he's referring to Matt Williams.

Stupid nickname then.

My feelings as a former Marine, nobody who didn't earn that title deserves to be called that.

Matt Williams was being called the Marine before he even ended his playing career. I believe it had something to do with his toughness. Sorry you don't like his nickname but it is what it is. Whether or not he was an actual Marine and I don't know that he was or he wasn't that's his nickname and I doubt that its going to change because as a former Marine you don't like it.
