Dbacks vs. Mets series thread

Well, that Phillies series sure was a downer. Hopefully the Dbacks can rebound tonight, Vargas vs. Hernandez.

Cool, now we get to HIT off of El Duque.

He'll be pretty fired up, I'm sure.

Wow Pedro vs Ortiz... can the D'Backs just forfeit that game in advance to save three hours out of my life?

Holy cow the Snakes are #2 this week! Even after a three game sweep. Too bad for the whole steriods thing... they had everything going the right way.

The pitching lately has not been good and its only more aplified by the complete lack of offense. This looks like the annual lull for the Dbacks

Counsell is showing his age. Is it too early to talk about Stephen Drew?

Headline of the day: "D'backs again fail to win with Hernandez on the mound"

We gotta shake the Grim(sley) Reaper and get things moving north again.

Beat the Mets!

I went to last nights game which proved to be one of the worst I've been to. Vargas looked like crap and he's extremely slow which made it tough to have a good time. Then El Duque throws a complete game gem and made us look lkie idiots. Plus, there was no one at the game and the few who were there were Mets fans. We gotta stop this losing strak tonight...

Three batters for the Mets, three runs. Looks like it could be a long night if the bats don't come alive.

That doesn't look like its going to happen. 3 batters faced for batista and the Mets are up 3-0

Well the losing streak will continue. 5 batters faced and they've hit 2 HRs and have only one out (and that was hard hit)

And I have tickets to this game.
