Can this be?
I watched parts of the game, before and after going out to the pool.
The Phillies had 12 hits, 4 walks and got on by 1 error . . . minus 5 runs scored. That's 12 runners who didn't score. But left 24 runners on base, per the box score. Including 8 by Howard and 6 by Werth?
I guess Howard's and Werth's LOB runners were the same, batting back to back. I never thought about that, but it sure looks strange.
Philadelphia LOB
Rollins, SS 3
Victorino, CF 1
Utley, 2B 1
Howard, 1B 8
Werth, RF 6
Ibanez, LF 3
Feliz, 3B 0
Ruiz, C 0
Martinez, P 1
Moyer, P 1
Totals 24
