Can we play him in right field, instead?

I wonder why they won't give him a tryout as a Left Fielder. He has more power (and probably a higher batting average) than his competition, especially if Brandon Allen is not in the running (which I can't understand why).
Micah has shown that as a Pitcher, his performance is marginal.

And where would Justin Upton play? I wouldn't be shocked to see him get some chances at 1st base during the spring but I doubt he will make the club out of spring. I imagine he will be a guy we call up if one of our relievers is hurt.

For another team? Preferably.

I'm willing to bet that by the end of the year, if not by the all-star break our left fielder is going to be Collin Cowgill.

Wow. You want to replace our best player with a pitcher. That is good to know.

No. I just want to trade a lazy 5-tool guy who never fulfill his promise while other teams still think he's a guy who will.

Why exactly is he lazy? Is it because he made it to the majors at age 19? An all-star game at 21? Really, tell me why he is lazy because all I see is a budding superstar who is still 3 years minimum from entering his prime. People never seem to realize he is 23 years old and has only played right field for about 4 years.

If you have talent but you don't run out ground balls, make lazy throws back into the infield, and don't run the bases hard when it probably doesn't count ... I'm just tired of defending him. Him and his brother, cut from the same cloth.

Crazy. First the comment about not wanting any part of Galarraga as our 5th starter and now this?
Are you drunk or just trying to be the super intelligent guy who always has to have the counter opinion of the main stream?
When you have a young guy like Upton, at the money we do, and with the production he has already given, let alone what he might be, you don't trade that away. Uptons not the reason we are bad and will likely be a main reason if/when we are ever good again.
Good moves by Dbacks the last couple days. Solid pitching depth acquisitons and the kind of moves that can make or break you during the dog days of summer.

I kind of attacked you in that previous post and you responded in a pleasent manner. I'm sorry for that. You are entitled to your opinion and I can respect that.

Here is the thing. Every play doesn't run the bases all the time. Everyone makes an error. It is not like he never makes a good throw and always jogs the bases. Would I like to see 100% effort all the time? Of course but that doesn't happen. If that is the reason you think he is lazy then you need to get a new definition.
