Warped Tour

Warped Tour was awesome this year! I went last weekend but I've been too lazy to post anything about it yet. Before I start on the bands I have to talk about the venue it was at, the Gorge at George. Yes, the town is George, Washingtone.

Here's one pic:

Great performances turned in by the usual suspects: NOFX, Vandals, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Alkaline Trio, Bouncing Souls.

This is the first year I didn't really catch any bands I wasn't familiar with other than some bands on the local stage. This is the first time I had seen The Sounds who were pretty good. I was impressed by Yellowcard and Story of the Year, 2 bands that I only watched because of their timeslots. SOTY I'll definitely see again next time they play here.

I only got slight sunburned which was a nice change. I don't know if I'll ever get used to 70 degree weather in July though.

Wow...such a small crowd, especially compared to the Phoenix one. You could barley walk anywhere without tiptoeing around.

Personally, I thought the Warped Tour SUCKED this year. I only enjoyed seeing Underoath, Hazen Street, Flogging Molly, and Authority Zero played an usually bad show...

It could also attribute to the fact that I am more into metal now than punk.

To each their own, but IMO, Warped Tour 2004 SUCKED.

Why no Sugarcult or Rancid (Lars)? I thought they were billed this year? I never found an answer.
