Roger Clyne?
I saw that Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers have a new album out and since others on this board are fans, I was wondering if anyone has bought it yet and give their opinion. Thanks in advance.

I bought it last week, but it hasn't come to me yet (I bought it from their website). From what I heard, it has more rock influence than country this time.
(If you buy it on the website, it comes with a DVD with it)

That's good to hear for me because I liked the Refreshments sound more so than the sound on Sonoran Hope and Madness. I enjoyed Honky Tonk Union but not nearly as much as FFB&B or TB&FH. FFB&B was pretty much the soundtrack to high school. Regardless I'm going to buy the album I just wanted to hear from others who have already listened to it.

Hopefully I'll have an answer for you by the middle of this week.

I still think Wheelie is the best CD I have (limited release by the Refreshments before they went "national").
My fav CD's:
Wheelie
Bob Marley - Legend
Red Hot CP - Blood Sugar Sex Magic
Smiths - Singles
Pixies - Doolittle

Actually, Roger Clyne supports people using file sharing systems, from what I've heard.
Besides, someone here bought the CD, we put it on the music server so everyone here can listen to it when they want. We aren't sharing it with the outside world.

Is the CD more like their old sound or more like the newer stuff they have been doing?

I was wondering if it's a more rock like the Refreshments or more country/southwestern like the Peacemakers last album?

From what I hear, it's more a combination of the two.

Wait a minute. What about the $10 I paid you for a copy of it? Did you change your mind?
