Kurt Cobain's Death: Suicide, Accidental, or Murder?
Tonight on Dateline NBC there going to feature an interview with the authors of
"The Death of Kurt Cobain" and here's the link to the actual book....
http://www.deathofkurtcobain.com/main.html
It's hard to believe that it's been 10-years since Kurt passed-away and noone has ever known whether or not it was a suicide or in fact a murder....
I've had this conspiracy theory for quite some time....The obvious of course that either Courtney Love murdered or had hired someone to carry out the crime...Or even that Dave Grohl was somehow involved since he wanted to finally emerge into the spotlight and wouldnt until Cobain somehow died...I know that is drastic, but I came to that conclusion since look how immediately Dave went solo (which turned out to be Foo Fighters) and he didnt seem devastated by Kurt's death.....
So, here's a poll for everyone... Was Kurt's death a suicide since he could no longer deal with fame, accidental, or murder?

I know it must be hard for some people to accept, since Kurt seemed like such an upbeat and cheery guy. So normal. You'd never think a guy like that could end his own life.
Suicide.

I know I'll obviously be in the minority in this poll... I know how Cobain endured a lot of tragedy and couldn't tolerate the constant media exposure that he received, however, it's just too ironic for me that Courtney Love and Dave Grohl both emerged into super-stardom immediately after Kurt's death....
Several entertainers (or common every day people) have dealt with constant depression and never attempted to claim their own-lives, and I have this feeling that if Kurt hadnt died that he would have done what Syd Barrett did and gone into seclusion...Probably I'm "way-off", but some peculiar reason this has been my theory (even though it is too drastic to begin with)....

It's been exactly 10 years.
R.I.P. Kurt.

Kurt Cobain killed himself because of drugs, leaving a wife and baby. Even though I don't particularly care for the wife, the deed was cowardly, and I have no respect for him personally for doing it.

No need to apologize.... It is certainly one of the latest "musical controveries" with so many unanswered questions....Definitely worthy of any discussion...
Did anyone watch last Friday's episode of Dateline NBC? I unfortunately missed it, however, I plan on checking that book out sometime.....
I still contend it was murder, but I bet this mystery will be never solved....

COBAIN FILM CHARTS SINGER'S FINAL DAYS
A new film is attempting to imagine what the final hours of KURT COBAIN’s life might have been like.
Directed by ‘Good Will Hunting’ director Gus Van Sant, ‘Last Days’ the film is not actually about Nirvana, but a musician called ‘Blake’ (played by Michael Pitt) and his grunge band who, as these shots reveal, bear a striking resemblance to the people who created ‘Nevermind’.
‘Last Days’ follows the tormented blonde haired Blake as he hides from managers, friends and record company executives during the lead-up to his death.
However Van Sant insisted this is not a film about Cobain, but a tribute to him. "He's like a Shakespearean Hamlet, reflecting on his personal ghosts and demons,” Van Sant told MTV.com, “and while I don't know what his were, I'm imagining what they might have been."
The director was also quick to assure fans that the film will not try to draw any conclusions – even fictionalised – about the singer’s demise.
"We're not showing anything specifically that's challenging anyone," he explained. "There are no answers, no 'This is causing that.' "
While Dave Grohl has already said he’ll be giving the film a wide berth, ‘Last Days’ has received the blessing of Cobain’s widow Courtney Love.
The film was premiered this week (May 11) at the Cannes Film Festival, and will be released in the UK in September.

I guess it's about time to bump this up due to the sudden discussions of Courtney Love and Nirvana.
I still contend it was murder and that perhaps even David Grohl was involved in some form.
Both emerged out of the shadows too quickly after Kurt's death that it appears more evident that it indeed wasn't suicide.

I still say suicide.
BTW, how is "accidental overdose" even an option. Didn't he die of a shotgun blast?
