another one of my favorites. Cake is a one of a kind band with a completly diffrent sound then the rest. All four of there CD's are amazing but i would have to say this one is my favorite. I look at the song list and every single song i like a lot.

Also all cake fans

CAKE's new album "Pressure Chief" will be available in stores September 7th.

I love Cake...but I must admit that I havent listened to much of this album (in fact I'm checking it out right now as I post)....

Another band you have chosen that has such a distinctly different sound of their own and have never "sold-out" in any way.....Bands like Cake, Flaming Lips, Butthole Surfers, and They Might Be Giants will continue to last for quite for some time since they've kept the same "fanbase" because of the fact that they didnt "sell-out" or compromise their sound whatsoever....Bands that resort to that obviously lose their "legion of fans" while trying to go "main-stream" and they begin to blend in with everyone else and never can really regain their original set of fans...

Anyways.... I cant wait to hear Cakes new album since they havent released any newer material for what I believe has been 3-years....It will be interesting to see if they remain true to their sound....They better since their music is very refreshing.....
