Cool

A Perfect Circle/The Mars Volta

Anyone else going to the A Perfect Circle/The Mars Volta concert in March at Dodge Theatre? The tickets just went on sale this morning (1/24/04). I'm really excited about seeing APC, however, I absolutely cannot stand The Mars Volta, blargh! Oh well, should be enjoyable anyway.

Damn you. I'm in section 4 (right in the centre!) but row 20 seats 7-10 (I think).

My girlfriend suprised me with tickets the other day. Row 20. Should be fun! I just saw TSO there in December, it's a great venue.

I bounced for A Perfect Circle when they played in Flagstaff at a now defunct club called the Old Post Office about three or four years ago. They played with a band called Laundry, whose drummer used to be in Primus. Maynard was really cool, but damn he's a short fella with a really bad posture.

Worst band to bounce for: Funk Junkies- totally cocky jerk-offs.

The singer for Modest Mouse was also lame, but he apologized for his demeanor after the show. I guess he didn't sleep much. The guys from Suicidal Tendancies, Hed PE and Prong were really cool.

Dee Dee Ramone was also a jerk. I wasn't too sad when I heard he died.
