Locke & Key (comics)

Story sounds great, it's by Stephen King's son and it's illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez (and it looks incredible).

I was going to post about this before it got picked up by a film studio, but they beat me to it.

Haven't read Joe Hill's novel Heart-Shaped Box yet, but have heard positive things from a couple people who read it.

Read some interview in which the author describes Locke & Key.

Here's a brief description:

“Locke & Key” is about three children who find themselves custodians of Keyhouse, a New England mansion filled with “impossible doors.” Explained Hill, “There’s a door that will turn you into a ghost when you walk through it. There’s a closet filled with different robes – an African robe, a Chinese robe, Indian furs – and by throwing on these cloaks you can change your race. Most of all, somewhere in the house, there’s a door that must never be opened, the black door.
