“The last book is not finished. But I’m well into it now. I wrote the final chapter in something like 1990, so I’ve known exactly how the series is going to end,” she said

I don't know why anyone could get down on the Harry Potter books. Getting kids to read is difficult in this day and age. I would cry tears of joy if I ever had to say, "Stop reading and go to bed"

/total book geek as a kid. I used to read by flashlight way after bedtime. I'd have been all over these when I was younger. My kids like reading too, but not like I did. Of course, if I had a ps2 when I was younger, I might not have been such an avid reader.
I'm still holding our for some "R" rated movies and books. Harry starts living life outside of Hogwards with his magic wand. Fighting bad guys, doing chicks, nursing wounds, bullying lesser wizards, gambling, drinking, starting up his own faction of wizards.
Or they could make a sitcom about it in the mold of 'Head of the Class' where Harry goes back to subtitute teach at Hogwarts (well that kinda sucks)
