Father Joe (anybody read it?)

I almost picked up a book at B&N today called "Father Joe," written by a guy that is normally a humorist about his journey to finding Faith. It looked really good, but ultimately I passed on it and the new-hardcover price tag for some more Dashell Hammet. I'm wondering if anyone's read it yet...
