Empire Falls

Just started the novel "Empire Falls." Good stuff so far.

It's also an HBO movie with Paul Newman, Adain Quinn and Ed Harris. That's how I got interested in the book. I saw some interviews with the cast and almost every one of them talked about how great the source material was.

I'll probably pick up the Empire Falls DVD when it comes out to compare the two.

Anyone else read this, or thinking about reading it?

I just watched the DVDs. This was very good. Ed Harris was amazing in this. The best work he's ever done.
