Anyone like Zombie or Vampire stories?

I got this book called Monster Island about a guy going to Manhattan after the Zombies took over to get some medicine. It was a pretty good read and then I found out the author posts all his stories chapter by chapter on his website.

The story called Plague Zone is very good. If anyone likes books in this genre I'd recommend giving it a shot.

Just picked up World War Z, by the same guy who wrote the Zombie Handbook.

My wife is a big fan of the Anita Blake series by Linda Hamilton, but she tells me there's a lot of vampire/vampire lovin'. And vampire/werewolf.

I think there may be some zombie naughties too.

She intimidates me with her tastes.

Finished it this week. Made for some nice beach reading.
Nicely done, clinically told as interviews from the aftermath.
The author put a lot of effort into the book, global research, etc.
If you like these types of books, put WWZ at the top of your list.

I really enjoyed both zombie books, I read World War Z first and then had to go find the other one. I'm not a huge zombie book reader and those were the first 2 I read in that genre(then I read the ones on BrokenType.com) but I am a sucker for a zombie movie.

The author is actor/comedian/writer Mel Brooks' son BTW

What? That's insane!

Golly, I love that family then. Zombie literature AND Blazing Saddles (can be replaced with Silent Movie, or any other Brooks feature).

Seriously, killer gene pool.
