Anyone Collect Magazines?

I am wondering if anyone here collects magazines?

If so, what is the most "prized" in your collection?

Mine would definitely be Pat Tillman on the cover of the 05/03/04 Sports Illustrated.....

My favorite era in rock music is late 80's early 90s guitar rock and metal. Not really glam, but more of the thrash era. Bands like Anthrax, Pantera, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Dream Theater, etc. As a result, I have a ton of guitar magazines I've picked up over the years and I have them all in my bookshelf in my music room. There are always a number of used book stores around (some great ones in Tucson and Flagstaff) that sell old guitar mags for like a buck or two, and I usually pick up 5-10 old mags every time I hit one of those stores.

I have a sports illustrated with a hologram jordan picture on it, and another that has Magic vs. Jordan on the cover. Also have another SI with the Desert Swarm defense from UA on the cover.

I don't have them now, as my little brother ended up with them, but my grandfather had many, many years worth of Popular Science from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. It was always interesting when I had my current subscription as one section they had in the back was a page displaying articles from the mag 25 and 50 years previous...just to compare the change in science. Often we were able to go back and find the original article from grandpa's collection. Very interesting reading when they were still theorizing about whether or not we could go to the moon, and things like that.
