The San Diego Chargers got just what they needed against a team they desperately want to beat. Philip Rivers threw a touchdown pass of 49 yards to Malcom Floyd and another of 4 yards to Vincent Jackson to lead the Chargers to a 17-3 halftime lead over the New England Patriots on Sunday night. Slow starts have hurt the Chargers this season.
