I'm a long, long time lurker and I'm surprised no one has mentioned Utah. I think a Marion for Kirilenko & Pick 25 really works for both teams.
AK's problem is playing with Boozer. Boozer is strictly a 4 - forcing AK to the 3. With the Suns Amare is at the 5 and AK is the 4.
5 - Amare
4 - AK
3 - Diaw/or Draft Pick
It saves the Suns 3 million in Cap Space - which turns into 6 million in Luxury Tax and gives the Suns another pick to try and dump Banks with or package to move up.

I think this trade makes ALOT of sense. Besides the fact that AK is hurt ALOT.
I think I would still pull the trigger if this was an option because AK would bring length & shot blocking. He is younger & also saves alittle on the cap.
Yea I think this is a very fair trade. So far my favorite trade for Marion.
Also think Utah might be ready to unload him. This trade might make alot of sense for both teams.
Are you serious? Utah would love to trade Kirilenko if they could get something decent for him. Maybe that's just my opinion but Kirilenko has been on the block for a while now and Utah is just hoping to find value for him.
The owner's been quite vocal about his displeasure with AK in the newspapers and on the radio. Recently he complained about being "stuck with him" since he makes so much money.
Also, Utah has no true small forward and could really use one. Kirilenko, Harping and Millsap are too slow to defend on the perimeter and Brewer's lack of strength makes him more of a G/F tweener.
Ak47 is just a gimmick player like Marion. This doesn't help us except
AK47 is even softer than Marion.
Ak47 is injury prone.
Ak47 is even more overpaid and longer term than Marion.

No thx
Now that is funny. He is such the gimmick. I am sure lots of franchises in the NBA wouldn't want those type of numbers form the SF position.

Yeah, Shawn Bradley and Harold Minor were gimmick players, not Shawn Marion. Are good stats and wins gimmicks?

AK is really a poor mans marion. Marion has a more explosive offensive game when paired with a distributor. AK has derown williams ( a great passer) and he still isnt as good as marion offensively.
defensively i think marion is still better. he can guard almost anyone pretty well, and AK can't. no thanks, ill keep marion
