Suns/Portland

Supposedly the Blazers are looking for a taker for Sergio "White Chocolate" Rodriguez. I know the Blazers were interested in Barbosa would they still be? Getting another PG in here wouldn't mean anything of Dragic not being our future PG either. It would just mean that the Suns can leave Dragic overseas until next year without worrying too much. Sergio played well for Portland and would be insurance behind Nash (especially since he only makes $817K. Maybe a deal of Barbosa/Tucker for Sergio/Webster/Diogu (or Frye). It works for both teams (even if Portland brings over SG/SF Rudy Fernandez and PG Pitteri Kopenen).

The deal for the Suns would bring in another big, a defensive wing and a PG. Fulfilling all of our needs.

Nash/Sergio/Strawberry
Bell/Giricek
Webster/Hill/Diaw
Amare/Diogu or Frye
Shaq/Lopez

When D'Antoni was the coach and nobody really gave a damn about playing defense, Rodriguez might have been useful running the offense when Nash sat. Now that defense is more than just lip service (hopefully), I suspect he'd be as useless to us as he is for Portland.

I don't know if that were the case they probably would have made a better effort to get Chalmers whom I still think they should have gotten.
